Reducing CO2 Emissions From Barbecues
Using activated carbon to capture CO2.

Problem
Charcoal barbecues produce around 5kg of CO2 per hour. Considering the 331.4 million American popualtion, that number could intensify to 50.1 tons per year!

Mission
Current alterntive barbecue fuels all compromise in one way. Wether in be in taste or price it really hard to beat charcoal. This project's mission is to allow people to keep enjoying barbecued foods in a more sustainable way without comprimising on taste.

Solution
To reduce CO2 emission without affecting taste Eco Grill uses an activated carbon filter. It can be mounted on the top exhaust of the babrecue. then the air is redirected for the CO2 to be captured.
Light Barbecue
Light the charcoal-powered barbecue as normal. Any fuel source can be used such as charcoal briquettes, lump charocal or coconut briquettes.
Capture CO2
The fumes from the Barbecue are exhausted into the activated carbon fitler. And a fan accelerated the airflow. Then the activated carbon captures the CO2 emitted from the barbecue.
